Coach Education Masterclass - Kicking with Dave Walder

Dave embarked on his coaching journey with Newcastle Falcons in the English Premiership back in 2014, after an impressive 15-year career as a professional rugby player. Having served as a fly-half for Newcastle for 8 years and then moving on to spend an additional 5 seasons with Wasps, Dave's illustrious career saw him represent England across all levels, from Under 21 to Senior. He played a pivotal role in Wasps' successes, contributing significantly to their European Cup victory, league title, and two domestic cup wins, accumulating over 1000 league points. Wrapping up his playing days with a two-season stint at Mitsubishi Dynaboars in Japan, Dave transitioned into coaching at Falcons, initially as a backs and attack coach before assuming the role of Head Coach in 2017. In his second year at the helm, he was entrusted with coaching England against the Barbarians as part of their Rugby World Cup preparations.…
